Prayer works – and to prove it, construction has begun on the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer – the largest Christian sculpture in the UK.
So far, over 100,000 answered prayers have been submitted for digital recording on the Eternal Wall. The aim is to gather 250,000 stories before the landmark is completed. Building on the wall, which will be 51.5m high and 80m wide, began in early November outside Birmingham, according to Chris Eyte of Christian Daily International.
The founder of the long-planned project, Richard Gamble, stated: “The waiting is over! Building starts 5 Nov. — thank you, Jesus.”
Organisers urged Christians who have experienced answered prayer—whether recent or long past—to contribute their testimonies, saying: “Every story is a stone in this monument, a tangible reminder that prayer works.”
