Few 93 year olds would relish driving themselves to Germany to conduct meetings, but David Hathaway is the exception.
This summer the evangelist celebrated 75 years in Christian ministry this year, holding a celebratory meeting at London’s Emmanuel Centre for a capacity crowd on 12 July. His team reports: “As David spoke, the Holy Spirit came down, and people experienced healing and God’s power.” David says: “I’ve not reached the limits of God’s power here, on earth! I’ve seen revival fire sweep the whole former Soviet Union from East Germany to Vladivostok, with millions brought to Christ and the most powerful outpouring of healing miracles! It’s now changing the former Soviet Muslim countries in Central Asia, also Caucasus.” (Photo – David Hathaway speaking at the 75th anniversary event)
After you read this, David will have driven to Tübingen, South Germany, a town with special memories: “It was the prophetic conferences I held in Germany, 1988-1992 which saw the Iron Curtain break, leading to the revival fire that now must sweep back across Europe and into Britain!”
Then on 10 December he will fly to Poland and cross war-torn Ukraine to reach the frontline in the east, as an official Ukraine army chaplain: “I will be going to evangelise and encourage them. I do not hesitate to be on the frontline, where the fighting is strongest and the need of salvation is greatest!”
