This lament for Britain was received by Rev Jennifer Abigail Lawson-Wallace, leader of the Women in Tune prayer organisation in the early hours of 20 April. We believe it to be an accurate message and offer it to readers as a spur to repentant prayer.

Britain! Britain! Britain! How many times I have called you, but you have hardened your ears and your heart towards Me!
O Great Britain! The Great Lion of the earth, whose dominion once stretched from shore to shore, even to the ends of the earth! See yourself now – like a dog gone back to its vomit and a pig wallowing in mud!
Great Lion of the earth, where is your glorious roar? Your roar is gone and now you can only bark and grunt!
O Great Britain! You have been brought low because you turned your back to Me. It is not the Church you rejected, it is Me, your God and Glory! You forgot that I Am the one who made you great! You forgot that it was My glory that you carried! You forgot and turned away from Me, and My worship, word and ways!
But, O Britain, it is not too late to turn! It is not too late to return to Me in repentance. It is not too late to come back to Me, your God and Glory! The time is short but there is still a window of opportunity; I am offering you a moment of grace, to turn from your wickedness and come back to Me.
Who else will help you? Who else has the power to save and deliver you? Who have you, but Me? Who else has loved you, but Me? The arm of flesh has failed you, see how you have fared without Me! See how you have fallen from grace and glory. Indeed, your princes walk like servants whilst your servants ride horses.
Oh Britain! How I have loved and cherished you! But now My glory is gone from you! My covering over you is gone and now you stand naked, bare and exposed! Who else can restore your lost glory, but Me?
Britain, O Britain! Will you not return to Me before it is too late? Return and I will hep you. I will restore and use you again for My glory. The time is short! Oh, that you will know how short the time is!
O Britain! Return to Your God! Return to Me and I will be your Salvation, Strength and Song.
