Local families took part in a ‘Marvellous Mums’ walk, the first of its kind, in Bournemouth.

Event organiser Julie Vivienne of Christian Action Dorset, said: “It is so important that we celebrate this in our nation, because society has downtrodden the gift of motherhood”. Local French resident Sidonie said: “I am here to celebrate all the women on earth who are brave for having children”.
Another local, Priscilla Battles, said she wanted “paint a positive picture of what it means to be a mum and what a great thing it is”.
Nine-year-old Mylon from Kinson came with his grandmother to the event on 14 March because he “wanted to celebrate mums”. His sister Kealey, aged 11, said she hopes to have three children one day. This was considerably fewer than the guest speaker, Ivana Celent’s tally; she has eight children, despite being diagnosed with a debilitating autoimmune condition that miraculously paused during her pregnancies.

Heritage Party leader David Kurten is urging people not to give in to fear over the media’s meningitis warnings.
In a recent video, Kurten speaks of similarities between Operation Pegasus last autumn, which war gamed an entero-virus leading to meningitis outbreaks and Event 201 in autumn 2019, which presaged a flu-type virus in March 2020. Moreover, says Kurten, the preventative remedies being eagerly taken up by students, can produce the symptoms they’re meant to prevent.
Kurten, formerly a chemistry teacher before he entered politics via the London Assembly, has previously joked that one day he hopes to meet a girl called Annette.
