Tracey Wickland explains what starting a Prayer Farm meant for her family and church
During the Covid period (2020 – 2022), we felt God tell us to “Feed his sheep”.
This was an awakening to God’s people’s need for both spiritual and practical food. The Church is a spiritual body and she is also a physical body. We have scarcity in our land: a hunger and a thirst for the Word of God and, physically, for good, clean, home-grown food. So we got out our Bibles and our spades! We increased the time spent on teaching, Bible study, discipleship and prayer – and we also began to grow our own food.
