Another prophetic Bible teacher, Matt Timms, who is preparing for the future by creating a prayer farm in Cornwall, thinks the Iran war is a “really strong birth pangs war”, referring to the “birth pangs” that Jesus promised would herald the end of the age.
Speaking to Issachar People’s Sunday gathering on 22 March, Timms quoted Ezekiel 38, which speaks of a multi-nation war against Israel, including Persia (modern day Iran). Before this war, Israel will be living in a time of relative peace (Ezekiel 38:10-12), with “unwalled villages”. The opposite is true now, but should the Islamic regime in Iran be replaced by a new government led by the Israel-friendly Crown Prince, the Middle East would see a period of peace.
Timms also believes that a ‘false peace’ is close, for which President Trump’s Board of Peace is a likely vehicle.
