A leaked estimate from Iran’s regime estimates its recent murder total at 80,000, according to Tousi TV.
Another estimate from inside the country stated that 43,000 had been killed, 10,000 blinded (snipers aim their bullets at eyes as they did during the 2022 ‘Woman, life, freedom’ uprising) and 350,000 injured.
Since 28 December 2025, a collapsing economy and 70% food inflation have driven millions into the streets across all 31 provinces. The regime, cornered and increasingly desperate, has responded with an unprecedented level of brutality. On 8 January, a near-total nationwide internet blackout was imposed, specifically to hide a silent and bloody crackdown from the eyes of the world.
